Floating mail form

What this solution does

A floating feedback button is displayed on the public pages of the site. Clicking it opens a configurable form, with submitted data sent to an email address via the standard 1C-Bitrix mail event. The module fully supports multisite architecture, providing independent fields, texts, styling, and statistics for each site.

This solution enables rapid setup of email-based lead collection without involving a developer or installing complex CRM systems. Once installed, the widget functions immediately on public pages; the user only needs to specify the recipient address.

The form is built using a visual builder within the module settings. Nine field types are available. For each field, you can configure the label, system code, tooltip, required status, and choice options. Data submission occurs via AJAX without page reload, with validation performed on both the browser and server sides.

Emails are generated using the standard mail event, allowing the email template to be edited using Bitrix tools without modifying the module code.

Form Field Builder

Nine field types are supported: text string, e-mail, phone, number, URL, multiline text, dropdown list, checkbox, and file. Each field can be configured with a label, system code, inline hint, and required status. Dropdown lists support custom options. A configurable input mask is available for all phone fields.

Attachments

The form accepts files in JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, PDF, TXT, CSV, DOCX, and XLSX formats. Attached files are included in the email notification and are not stored on the server.

Styling

Users can set the primary color for the button and accent elements. Light and dark themes are supported, along with an automatic mode that follows the visitor's device settings. A background image (JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF) can be added to the form header with visibility adjustable from 0% to 100%. The decorative element in the header can be disabled. All text elements are customizable, including the button label, form title and description, submit button text, and the success message.

Button Position

The button can be positioned on the right, center, or left. Precise horizontal and vertical margins from the screen edges can be set within a range of 0 to 400 pixels.

Email Notifications

Supports multiple recipient addresses separated by commas. If the recipient field is left empty, the sender address from the main module is used. Includes a ready-made HTML email template editable via standard Bitrix tools. Template macros include: #EMAIL_TO#, #FORM_DATA#, #FORM_DATA_TEXT#, #PAGE_URL#, #DATE#, #SITE_ID#. A template for a new site is automatically added upon the first send.

Statistics

Displays counters for successful sends: for today, last 7 days, last 30 days, and all time. Provides a daily graph for the last two weeks. Data is displayed for the selected site.

Yandex.Metrica

JavaScript goals are set for form opening and successful submission. Each site uses a separate counter number and distinct goal identifiers.

Spam and Invalid Data Protection

Bitrix session validation is performed with every submission. Includes a hidden honeypot field for automated bots. Submission frequency is limited to no more than one message every 15 seconds. All values undergo server-side validation independent of browser checks.

Personal Data Processing Consent

Configurable consent text displayed next to the checkbox.

The Floating Mail Form module allows configuring a link to the data processing policy page, as well as managing the requirement for consent and its default state.

Administration is simplified with a quick link to settings in the Marketing section. Each parameter displays its purpose and default value. A button is available to reset the settings of the selected site to their original values.

Settings are accessible in two sections of the admin panel: Marketing → Floating Mail Form, and Settings → Product Settings → Module Settings → Floating Mail Form.
