This module visually masks telephone numbers in the web interface of the on-premise Bitrix24 CRM for selected employees or departments. Administrators select the required users and departments in settings, and the selection is saved automatically. Settings also apply to employees within nested departments. In standard CRM cards, numbers are displayed in a masked form, while standard calling actions remain available.
Important limitations
Masking applies only to display in the web interface and does not affect data storage or access rights management. The module does not guarantee number hiding if the number is entered into the title of a lead, contact, company, or deal, into a comment, a custom text field, a document, or any location other than the standard "Phone" field. Placing numbers in such fields may result in their display in lists, cards, search results, notifications, and edit forms. Store numbers only in dedicated CRM phone fields.
If an employee must not see the original phone number, disable their ability to edit contacts and other entities containing phone numbers using standard CRM access rights. Perform necessary changes only via the administrator, robots, or business processes. The module does not block viewing HTML code or browser network responses, so it does not protect data from technically prepared users.
Masking in the mobile application is not included in this basic version. Access via REST API, data export, external integrations, and direct database access are not restricted. Compatibility with non-standard cards and third-party components depends on their markup and requires individual verification. The module does not modify Bitrix core files.
