Important limitations
Masking applies only to data display and does not affect data storage or access rights. Numbers in titles, comments, documents, and arbitrary text fields may remain visible. Store numbers in dedicated Phone fields. For employees without access to the original number, restrict contact editing using standard CRM permissions. REST API, export, integrations, page source code, and network responses are not protected by the module. The behavior of specific mobile application screens depends on the application version and requires verification after updates. Core Bitrix24 files are not modified.
When needed, General iT can implement “Number hiding for employees: web and mobile application”, configure the module and verify it against the current website setup.
