What this solution does
Before deleting or renaming a custom CRM field, administrators must identify where the field is currently used in standard portal settings, including CRM forms, deal and lead cards, robots, business process templates, and filters. The 'CRM Field Map' module collects these connections in read-only mode and displays the results in both the CRM interface and the module's admin panel.
Module capabilities:
• Catalog of all custom and standard CRM fields and smart process fields.
• Field search with a list of usage locations and links to settings (where supported by the platform).
• Generation of reports on unused fields based on scan results.
• Support for full and incremental scanning of CRM configuration.
• Scan logging and tracking of unknown automation tables.
• CSV export functionality (available with a license).
• Public page /crm/fieldmap/ for field search and viewing by CRM users.
• Admin panel /bitrix/admin/pltech_fieldmap_* for initiating scans, viewing reports, and configuring settings.
Target audience:
Administrators and integrators of the boxed Bitrix24 portal who need to audit custom CRM fields before modifying the data structure.
Version 1 limitations (important)
The 'CRM Field Map' module identifies where fields are defined in standard CRM settings, but does not scan arbitrary custom portal code. The first version excludes PHP and JavaScript files, components, and pages located in /local/, the init.php file, REST applications, external integrations, and arbitrary database tables (except for known automation tables and a manual whitelist). The tool does not modify CRM settings, robots, business processes, or fields. Before deleting a custom field, a manual review of portal customizations is recommended.
Searching the already cached CRM data is free. The 14-day trial period includes one full settings check and one view of the unused fields report. A full license provides unlimited scanning, unused fields reports, CSV export, and scheduled automatic scanning.
The module operates in read-only mode and does not alter CRM configurations. Scanning is available to administrators and explicitly designated user groups. Scan operations are protected by session validation, and module data is stored in dedicated tables via D7 ORM.
Requirements: Boxed Bitrix24 portal with the CRM module, PHP 8.1 or higher, and a minimum product version of 22.0.300.
General iT can connect “CRM Field Map”, configure it and verify the integration with the existing website.
