What this solution does
The module protects customer contact data within the Bitrix24 mobile application. It hides phone numbers and email addresses in CRM cards, lists, tasks, notifications, and open lines.
Flexible settings allow managing application areas, selecting employees and departments, creating white and black lists, and setting separate rules for phones and emails.
Compliance with legislation
Federal Law No. 152-FZ 'On Personal Data' requires companies to protect personal data, including contact information, from unauthorized access, leaks, and disclosure. The module implements the necessary organizational and technical measures: it limits the circle of persons with access to contact data; hides information during viewing and in push notifications; ensures access differentiation by department; and prevents accidental data disclosure during demonstrations, mobile work, or screenshot creation. Using the module helps meet the requirements of Articles 18.1 and 19 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ.
Key features
Phones and emails are configured independently: each data type has its own masks, lists, and rules. Various masking modes are implemented, including the 'Repeat Character' mode.
The module hides phone numbers and email addresses in the Bitrix24 mobile application. The 'Random Characters' feature allows precise visibility control by specifying how many characters to display at the beginning and end of a number or address. Masking applies to Contacts, Leads, Companies, Deals, Tasks, Open Lines, and Push notifications. Rules can be targeted to specific employees or departments. The system supports white lists (exclusions) and black lists (forced masking even outside the CRM). All settings are available in the standard Bitrix24 administration panel. Original data in the database remains unchanged; only the display is masked. The module intercepts data rendering on the Bitrix24 backend and replaces it with masks according to defined rules, utilizing standard extension points to ensure minimal load and compatibility with updates. The solution ensures compliance with Federal Law 152-FZ, hides contacts from contractors, call center staff, and temporary personnel, and implements the principle of least privilege. In the Bitrix24 mobile application, contacts are automatically masked.
The module allows configuring different display policies for phone numbers and e-mails for departments within franchise and partner networks. This reduces the risk of data leaks and unauthorized contacts by ensuring visibility is controlled based on roles and access levels. Installation and basic setup take only a few minutes.
Key limitations apply: basic masking does not guarantee 100% hiding in all possible interfaces. In the Bitrix24 mobile app, hiding phone numbers in CRM cards disables outgoing calls from those cards, while incoming calls remain fully functional. Masking is applied only to the standard Bitrix24 interface; third-party integrations are not affected. In numeric fields with the 'Repeat character' mode enabled, part of the number may be visually truncated.
