Fusion: Meeting Room Occupancy

What this solution does

The module adds a new section to the portal to display the occupancy status of meeting rooms. The standard Bitrix24 version lacks a tab with a full booking schedule; availability can only be checked when creating an event in the calendar, and if a room is occupied, the name of the user who booked it is not displayed. The module resolves this issue by making the process transparent, while its installation and basic configuration take only a few minutes.

The functionality is implemented as a calendar in a separate tab named 'Meeting Room Occupancy', which appears immediately after installation and is added to the portal's main menu for easy access. For demonstration purposes, two test rooms named 'Korobka' and 'Oblako' have already been created in the system. The user needs to add the actual meeting rooms of their office to the system.

To create an event, open the Calendar tab. The list of available meeting rooms is located in the Place dropdown menu. For instance, to schedule a meeting with client Petrov, select the Cloud room and save the event.

The Fusion Meeting Room Occupancy module allows employees to view room booking status. When opening the relevant tab, information about occupied rooms is displayed, such as a booking for the 'Cloud' meeting room from 16:00 to 17:00 for a client meeting. This helps colleagues plan their events without creating schedule conflicts. Meeting rooms are visually distinguished by different colors for ease of navigation. Configuration of colors and room parameters is available in the 'Meeting Rooms' section.
