It is positioned directly below the notification bell icon and displays the count of unread messages from task chats. With this solution, the number of unread messages is visible from any portal page, and the section opens with a single click.
Functional capabilities:
The 'Task Chats' button is located in the right panel immediately below the notification bell.
The unread message counter for task chats updates in real time and matches the counter on the 'Task Chats' tab within the messenger.
Clicking the button opens the messenger and switches it to the 'Task Chats' tab.
The button design follows the style of standard panel icons: it appears dimmed when there are no unread messages and highlights when new messages arrive.
The module can be temporarily disabled in settings without needing to be uninstalled.
System requirements:
'Tasks and Projects' (tasks) module version 25.800.0 or newer.
'Web Messenger' (im) module with support for the 'Task Chats' section.
During installation, the solution automatically verifies these requirements. If the module versions do not meet the necessary conditions, installation will not proceed, and the system will indicate which specific module requires an update.
