The module extends the standard List Link with Autocomplete field by adding five additional settings. In the default version, search is limited to the item name, and only the item name is displayed in search results and after saving.
The new field type allows flexible configuration of three independent parameters: which fields to use for searching items, which fields to display in search results, and which fields to show after saving the record.
Field configuration is performed on a dedicated settings page during element creation.
The Extended List Item Binding with Auto-complete module by BestRank implements advanced search with automatic field completion. The documentation includes a video example demonstrating how this search mechanism operates.
The contract registry supports creating additional agreements by linking them to a primary document via a dedicated field. This functionality is implemented using the extended binding module with auto-completion. The field configuration specifies that search operations must be performed using the registration number and counterparty name. Search results display the contract type (primary or additional), the registration number, and the counterparty name. When a query is entered, the system filters records instantly, presenting all matching contracts with the complete set of requested information.
