What this solution does
SearchPlus is a semantic search module for online stores. The system replaces standard site search with semantic search: users enter queries with typos, on an English keyboard layout, or describe products in their own words, such as kholodilnik, ghbynth, or divan chtoby raskladyvalsya, and receive relevant products with prices in real time as they type. The found product can be added to the cart immediately.
The module integrates with the standard Search component via its native extension point. No changes to site components or templates are required: the search bar in the header, suggestions, results page, and catalog search automatically begin working through SearchPlus.
Key capabilities:
- Customers find the right product even with spelling errors, incorrect keyboard layout, or free-text descriptions.
- Products with an exact article number match always appear at the top of the results.
- Managers can control search results without involving a programmer.
- Customers can ask questions to the catalog assistant or manager without leaving the page.
- Store owners can see what customers are searching for and track the number of orders generated through search.
Search technical features:
- Semantic search and word-based search with morphology: the query divan chtoby raskladyvalsya finds sofa-beds.
- Automatic correction of typos and English layout errors: kholodilnik and ghbynth lead to refrigerator results.
- Support for abbreviations and brand names written in Russian letters: bp 24v 100w, meanvell.
The SearchPlus.ru module provides intelligent search for online stores. The system correctly processes characteristics and units of measurement, such as "12v" or "3 meters", interpreting them as product property values. Article search works even when typed with spaces or without hyphens. The results take into account trade offers, product availability, and warehouse data.
The module understands complex query conditions: "up to 500 rubles", "in stock", "cheapest first", as well as queries about discounts and bestsellers. Search is performed across website pages based on the index of the "Search" module, including articles and delivery terms. The system offers suggestions with products and prices starting from the first letters, displays a "Often searched" block before input, and provides refinements by category, brand, and price.
The displayed price accounts for the buyer's group, their discounts, and cart rules. The "Buy" button adds the product to the site cart. Optionally, a custom results page can be configured with product cards, sorting, and filters by category, brand, price, and availability, along with a "Show more" button.
The "Help Choose" feature answers buyer questions about catalog products, considering budget and conditions, displays product cards, and compares them in a table. The assistant remembers the conversation context and understands clarifications like "cheaper?". Chat history with the assistant is available in statistics. A chat with a manager is also implemented, allowing buyers to message a specialist from the search window, the assistant, or via a dedicated button on the site.
The SearchPlus module provides intelligent search for online stores on the Bitrix platform. Before starting communication, the buyer confirms consent for personal data processing and passes a 'I am not a robot' verification check. Managers and customers can exchange photos and files. The manager interface displays the buyer's current page, their search queries, viewed products, and questions to the assistant. If a client leaves the site, the system sends them a reply via email. All site chats are collected in a single list, allowing the entire team to respond to customers jointly.
Search result management includes pinning products to top positions for specific queries, as well as the ability to hide or lower products for individual queries or globally. The system supports creating custom synonyms and uses suggestions based on buyer queries. Transitions to site pages are configured by keywords (for example, the query 'delivery' redirects to the terms page), and stop words are supported. Search results are rated by users as 'good' or 'bad', enabling automatic elevation of high-quality results. Automatic configuration allows the system to find delivery, payment, and contact pages and direct interested customers to them. The search window appearance is customizable to match the site design with a preview option. The solution supports multiple sites and languages within a single Bitrix installation.
The module's analytics provide data on buyer queries, click counts, queries with no results, and allow comparison with previous periods.
Data on shopping carts, orders, payments, cancellations, and revenue generated via search are recorded in the reports of the Internet Store module.
Search statistics exclude requests from search robots and test queries.
Comparison with standard search
The benchmark was conducted on October 8, 2026, on an active lighting equipment store running on 1C-Bitrix. The catalog contains 126,338 products, and 607 customer queries were analyzed. Both search systems operated on the same website with a single catalog. The standard search is the Search module, version 25.200, featuring morphology and relevance-based sorting; the keyboard layout prediction feature was enabled in the mode that yielded the best results. Results may vary when applied to a different catalog.

How it works
Search, indexing, and neural network models operate on SearchPlus servers located in Russia. The search widget connects directly from the user's browser, ensuring that the site's database is not burdened by search operations.
If the search server is unavailable, the site automatically switches to the standard search and returns to SearchPlus once the server responds. Catalog changes occurring during this period are queued and synchronized later.
Price and stock updates are transmitted to the search engine via site events, typically within one minute. The index is fully verified against the catalog once daily.
The site's composite cache continues to function without interruption.
Search robots use the site's standard search, ensuring that tariff limits are not consumed.
Data Transmission
Catalog items with properties and prices, search queries, and visitor messages from the assistant and chat are sent to the SearchPlus server. From order data, only totals and product names are transmitted, excluding buyer personal data such as names, phone numbers, and addresses. The visitor's IP address is used to distinguish humans from robots; only its hash is recorded in statistics. Email addresses and phone numbers provided in the chat are sent to the server partially masked, with full storage occurring only on the site. The 1C-Bitrix module license key is not transmitted. Prices from closed price types are not displayed to visitors without appropriate access rights.
Cost
The module is provided free of charge. Search functionality operates through the SearchPlus service, which may be used under paid tariffs. Payment is not mandatory: the free tariff is available indefinitely.
The first website in an account operates on the maximum tariff for 30 days without payment and without linking a bank card. After this period, if a paid tariff is not selected, the account automatically switches to the free tier.
Payment is accepted via bank card or by invoice for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, with closing documents provided.
Current tariffs and prices are available at the SearchPlus.ru website.
General iT can connect “SearchPlus.ru — smart search for an online store increases sales by up to 30%”, configure it and verify the integration with the existing website.
