The Yandex.SmartCaptcha module replaces the standard Bitrix captcha with Yandex's intelligent verification system. The service automatically identifies legitimate user requests and blocks bot activity. In most cases, users only need to click the 'I am not a robot' checkbox without interacting with images.
The algorithm analyzes requests for signs of automation, effectively filtering out bots without compromising response speed. The system employs a two-step verification process: first, the 'I am not a robot' checkbox is displayed. If the request appears suspicious, the user is presented with a text-based captcha.
Generated text captchas are created by the system rather than using random images, maintaining an 85% human recognition rate while hindering bot detection. Users can adjust the difficulty of the generated word combinations by selecting one of three levels: easy, medium, or high, according to their specific use case.
The SmartCaptcha service is deployed on Yandex Cloud infrastructure, which complies with Russian legislation and international information security standards. The technology is continuously improved through its widespread adoption across various Yandex services. Additional information is available in the official documentation.
