The module enables sending emails from the website. Once activated, it allows configuration of email senders within the administrative panel. Message delivery is performed via a connection to mail servers using the SMTP protocol, powered by the PHPMailer library.

Before installing the module, verify that your hosting provider does not block standard ports used for email transmission, typically 587 and 465, though specific values depend on the mail server configuration. Proper operation requires prior setup of site agents and email templates.
The system's built-in health check uses a different email sending mechanism, so its results do not reflect the actual performance of this module. For diagnostics, review the sending logs. The module is designed for websites using UTF-8 encoding; using other encodings may result in incorrect text display in emails. Support for GSSAPI and NTLM authentication protocols on the mail server is not provided.
To ensure email privacy, it is strongly recommended to disable the email logging feature unless it is required for troubleshooting delivery issues.
