What this solution does
Subscription for Regular Deliveries
Customers subscribe to products, and the store automatically generates standard orders based on a set schedule. This solution is optimized for repeat purchases such as coffee, pet food, household chemicals, and other consumables. Payment and delivery are processed through standard online store tools; the solution does not support automatic card payments.
Schedule and Management
Delivery intervals can be configured in days, weeks, or calendar months. Customers can pause, resume, cancel, or skip the next delivery. Options to modify the order composition or skip shipments can be disabled in settings. Monthly schedules account for the specific day of the month and the store's time zone; after a period of inactivity, missed deliveries are not generated in a single batch.
In the personal account, active subscriptions are displayed above completed ones. Managers can create subscriptions, modify terms, set a limit on the number of deliveries, or manually assemble the next order. The system rejects saving an outdated card version if the subscription has already been modified. A positive limit on an active subscription must exceed the number of completed deliveries.
Prices and Composition
The discount is configured in the module settings, with a default value of 5%. Orders are generated based on current prices available to the buyer's group on the subscription site, taking into account the current product quantity. The subscription does not permanently fix the price. If the user independently modifies the order composition, the manager's elevated discount reverts to the standard rate; the same rule applies when switching to more frequent delivery intervals.
Products unavailable to the buyer may be automatically excluded from the order. Information regarding these exclusions is logged and sent to the store when notifications are enabled. If no suitable items are found, the delivery is considered unsuccessful. The actual ability to purchase, product availability, and delivery and payment restrictions must be verified within the specific store configuration.
Background agents create orders, remove expired pauses, send alerts, and clean up old log entries. Orders are identified by the subscription and delivery date to prevent the creation of duplicate orders on the same date following a failure. Record errors are not treated as successful cancellations or modifications of the subscription.
By default, the subscription notification is sent two days before the order assembly begins. If the preliminary assembly feature is enabled, the notification date shifts earlier relative to the delivery date. The customer email includes the order composition, total amount, and a direct link to the personal account. The sending server address is determined by the specific subscription settings. Automatic renewal for blocked customers is not supported; active subscriptions are cancelled by the module handler upon user account deletion.
REPORT AND ACCESS
The reporting panel displays the list of active subscriptions, calculated monthly sales volume, churn metrics, order creation history, and a list of popular products. Calculated metrics do not guarantee future revenue. Data filtering in selections respects the employee's permissions for viewing the site and orders; full statistics are available only with complete store access. Administrative data requires permissions for the subscription and sale modules.
The event log is retained for the duration specified in settings, by default 365 days. All data remains stored in the site database. The solution includes database schemas for MySQL and PostgreSQL; support for a specific DBMS is determined by the installed Bitrix platform version.
For “Subscription to regular deliveries”, General iT can perform integration, configuration and a final check after installation.
