What this solution does
Extended fields for deal line items
In the standard Bitrix24 CRM, the set of characteristics for a product within a deal is limited to fixed parameters: price, quantity, discount, and tax. Adding individual data for a specific line item, such as weight, delivery date, supplier name, or warehouse staff comments, is not possible with standard tools. User-defined fields in the system can only be created at the level of the entire deal, not for individual products.
The module adds additional tabs to the deal card, allowing each line item to store its own custom field values.
Capabilities
Nine field types are supported: text string, multiline text, integer, number, boolean, date, date and time, link, and list.
Tab grouping. Fields can be grouped by meaning, for example into 'Logistics' or 'Production' groups, with each tab configured separately.
Access rights configuration. A tab can be made available to all users with access to the deal, or restricted to specific employees or departments.
Integration with business processes and robots. Two actions, 'Write line item field' and 'Read line item field', allow automatic filling and reading of values in automated scenarios.
Usage in documents. Field values are available in the document generator as placeholders and are automatically inserted into invoices, shipping notes, and commercial proposals.
This module is suitable for manufacturing with individual product parameters, wholesale trade with varying delivery terms per item, services with a specific performer assigned to each line, and logistics requiring weight and dimension tracking.
The module operates exclusively within the context of deals. Leads, commercial offers, and smart processes are not supported.
Field values are bound to the specific deal line item, not to the product itself. Deleting a line from a deal removes its associated values. If a product is replaced within a line, the existing values are preserved, and the replacement is recorded in the deal history.
The module does not provide REST methods. Data access is available via PHP through the module services ValueService and FieldService.
The set of fields is global for the entire portal. In a multi-site configuration, there are no separate field sets for different sites.
Immediately after installation, the deal card will not display the fields tab. The tab becomes visible only after an administrator creates at least one field.
Edition requirements: Bitrix24 on-premise (Corporate Portal, Enterprise, 1C-Bitrix24: Online Store + CRM).
Environment requirements: PHP 8.2 or higher (required by Bitrix24 on-premise), though the module code is compatible with version 8.1. Database: MySQL 8.x or MariaDB. The module has also been tested on PostgreSQL.
All data values are stored directly in your portal's database. The module does not establish connections with external servers and does not transmit information outside your system. When removing the module, the system will offer a choice: either completely delete the created fields and their values or retain them in the database.
If “BDM: Deal Product Fields” is required, General iT can help with installation, configuration and a technical check after integration.
