Extended Order Letters: Order Properties and Parameters in Email Events (Macros)

What this solution does

The "Extended Order Letters" module for 1C-Bitrix allows you to expand automated online store notifications by adding order properties and parameters. This functionality is available for the following events: new order creation, order cancellation, order payment, and order status changes. Order data can be inserted into email texts using the macro system.

The module extends email event functionality by adding support for the 'Order Changed' event. This enables automatic notifications to customers regarding important changes in the order, such as delivery parameters, product composition, or cost.

The solution also introduces new macros for use in emails. These are available in notifications for new orders, status changes, payments, and order cancellations, as well as in any other emails containing the order identifier (#ORDER_ID#).

Available data for insertion includes:

- Configurable product tables with support for displaying images, properties, and custom fields.

- Core order details: Order ID, Order Number, and public link.

- Order position tables (main and additional).

- Order creation or update date and time.

- Applied coupons and promo codes.

- Payer type name.

- Customer comment.

- Manager comment (visible only in the admin panel).

- Total order weight (in grams or kilograms).

Total order volume: in cubic centimeters or cubic meters.

Order status information: name and description of the status, date and time of the last status change. Data includes whether the order is cancelled, the date and time of cancellation, and the reason for cancellation.

Order properties: output of all user-filled properties excluding system ones, all properties including system ones, a customizable list of properties, or the value of a specific property.

Delivery information: name and description of the delivery service, delivery permission status, shipment identifier (tracking number), list of additional delivery services, information about the selected warehouse or pickup point.

Payment information: name and description of the payment system, order payment status (paid/unpaid), cost of goods in the order, total order cost, delivery cost, discount amount, tax amount, and amount already paid.

The 'Extended Order Letters' module enables the inclusion of order data macros in email events where the ORDER_ID variable is defined. This allows sending buyers all important information directly in the email, eliminating the need to access their personal account. The functionality supports configuring two distinct product tables within a single message, for example, to send an administrator an expanded order version with additional fields.

The module extends email event functionality by enabling the use of order properties and parameters via macros. It supports multi-site configurations and is compatible with PHP versions 7.x and 8.x, as well as current and previous versions of the 1C-Bitrix platform.
