What this solution does

The whatAsoft: Employee Absence module extends the user card in the boxed version of Bitrix24, adding information about all recorded absence periods from the standard 'Absence Schedule' module. Unlike native functionality, this component not only displays absence history but also automatically generates an annual summary for each absence type.

The component displays all planned and used absence periods in the employee profile, grouped by year. For each calendar year, the system automatically calculates the total number of days for each absence category: vacation, sick leave, business trip, personal day off, unauthorized absence, and other absence types registered in the 'Absence Schedule' module.

This functionality enables managers to quickly access necessary information for effective resource planning. Employees and their colleagues can rapidly review absence history, view planned vacations, and obtain a clear summary required for calculating remaining vacation days.

The module automatically generates summary statistics for each absence type per calendar year, allows evaluation of used vacation days, and facilitates planning of future leave. It simplifies arranging replacements, scheduling business trips, and distributing workload. All information is displayed directly in the employee card, providing one-click access without navigating to the 'Absence Schedule' section.

The component relies on data from the standard Bitrix24 module 'Absence Schedule'. To function correctly, you must first record all employee absences (vacations, sick leave, business trips, days off, and other events) in the 'Employees' → 'Time and Reports' → 'Absence Schedule' section. Once data is entered, absence details and annual statistics will automatically appear in the corresponding employee cards.
