What this solution does
The WebEnot Import from Excel module transfers working catalogs from XLSX, XLS, ODS, and CSV files into 1C-Bitrix information blocks. Before writing data, the module displays the workbook structure, allowing the user to select a specific sheet and header row, verify column mapping, and perform a test check without modifying the database.
Key capabilities include creating a new information block or updating an existing one. Items are updated using a stable key to prevent duplicates. The module supports creating nested sections based on multiple columns, as well as creating new properties and mapping them to existing fields. It imports names, codes, activity statuses, sorting parameters, dates, text descriptions, and images.
Price and stock management covers basic and additional price categories with currency specification, along with warehouse stock tracking that respects the merchandise accounting mode. Products and trade offers can be stored in separate information blocks. The system performs preliminary checks for duplicate keys and ambiguous matches. Value transformation is performed safely with a preview of the result before saving.
Large-scale data processing is handled in batches with history logging and the generation of a CSV file containing row errors. If necessary, changes can be rolled back based on an explicit user choice, with a preliminary estimate of the required space.
The import process begins by creating a profile and selecting the target information block, either existing or new. Next, the file is uploaded, after which the user selects the desired sheet and header row.
Verify the automatic field mapping and adjust assignments manually if necessary.
On the launch page, select the target file and run a validation check without saving data.
Review all warnings, determine if a rollback archive is required, and confirm the import process.
After completion, verify the imported results and review the job history.
System Requirements
The module operates in available editions of 1C-Bitrix: Site Management provided the Information Blocks module is installed. Features for prices, products, offers, and stock balances are available only when the standard Trade Catalog module is present. The system supports 64-bit PHP versions 8.2 through 8.4, along with common server extensions for XML, ZIP archives, images, and multibyte strings. Before the first run on a production site, it is recommended to test the import scenario on a backup copy or in an isolated test environment.
General iT can take care of implementing “Import from Excel: products, prices, stock levels, and images”, including installation, configuration and result verification.
