The module displays a fixed banner at the bottom of the screen containing text and a countdown timer set to a specific date. The banner overlays the main content without obstructing navigation. It is designed to notify users about deadlines, such as sales, webinars, group enrollments, or the end of application periods.

Banner visibility is controlled via URL rules without modifying site templates. Supported rule types include exact page URLs, path masks, Bitrix templates (e.g., /catalog/#ELEMENT_CODE#/), or the symbol «/» to display the banner across the entire site. When multiple rules match a single page, the most specific rule takes precedence. If rules have equal specificity, the one with the lower sort value is selected.
Each banner can be customized individually, including message text, countdown end date, color scheme, a link button, and a close option. After the timer expires, the banner can be automatically hidden or left visible with zero values.
The 'Timer Banners' module displays banners via the qixru:timer.banner component. Banners do not appear automatically; the component must be placed once in the site template footer.
The component automatically determines which banner to show based on the current URL. If needed, a specific banner ID can be specified.
The administrative panel includes a rule verification tool: on the banner list, you can enter a URL to see which rules will be triggered. Banner display can be disabled in the module settings without deleting the created rules.
Key features and limitations
A banner will not appear without the qixru:timer.banner component placed in the template footer. The component must be installed in the template only once; duplicating it will cause the banner to be displayed multiple times. Rule priority is fixed: to change the display order, use sorting and rule precision settings rather than the creation order.
Requirements
The module requires the '1C-Bitrix: Site Management' edition.
Installation
Install the module via the 1C-Bitrix Marketplace. Place the qixru:timer.banner component in the site template footer once. In the 'Timer Banners' settings section, create a banner and define its display rules.
To verify functionality, specify a URL on the banner list page to see which rules are triggered.
