What this solution does

Google Calendar Online Booking module (pcode.googlecalendar) by Profy Code provides integration with the Google Calendar API and 1C-Bitrix to organize service booking. The system enables deployment of a booking solution in 5 minutes: clients select a service, specialist, and time, after which the request is instantly recorded in the employee's Google Calendar and in the site's information block as a lead.

Key capabilities:

Two-way synchronization with Google Calendar: real-time availability check for time slots. Slots occupied in the calendar are automatically blocked for booking on the site.

Four operating modes:

The module enables online booking via Google Calendar with AJAX slot loading that does not require page refresh. The calendar interface and time selection adapt to any website design using CSS variables.

To install, use the standard update system or copy the pcode.googlecalendar folder to the /local/modules/ directory and activate the module in the administration panel. During installation, the necessary information blocks and block types are created automatically.

Operation requires a credentials.json key file obtained via a Google Cloud Platform Service Account. Upload this file in the module settings under Settings -> Module Settings -> Google Calendar Online Booking. The global list of services and specialists is also configured in this section.

The pcode:google.calendar component is added to any website page. Key configuration parameters include selecting one of four operating modes, specifying working hours (start and end of day), and setting the duration of a single appointment. In simple mode, the calendar email address is entered in the Calendar ID field; in Specialist modes, IDs are retrieved from global settings.

The SIMPLE mode is ideal for landing pages and personal sites: a standard form is used, and all requests are recorded in a single shared calendar. The SPECIALISTS mode is designed for clinics, beauty salons, and barbershops. Users select a specific specialist and view their available time; this requires prior configuration of the specialists list in the module settings. The SERVICES mode is optimal for services offering various procedures, such as haircuts or coloring. The system automatically calculates the required number of time slots based on the service duration. The FULL mode combines service and specialist selection: when a service like a massage is chosen, the system suggests only those specialists who perform it, followed by displaying their available time.

Technical details: module code pcode.googlecalendar, component pcode:google.calendar. Requirements include PHP version 7.4 or higher, the iblock module, and a credentials.json file with calendar access permissions. The Google API Client PHP Library is included within the module. The appearance is fully customizable via CSS; the component template is available for editing.
