What this solution does

OtvetIIim is an AI chat widget for websites that answers visitors based on your catalog, prices, and stock availability. For buyers, it also provides information about their order status.

Capabilities:

Answers product questions: checks availability, displays pricing, explains model differences, and helps select a solution for the buyer's task.

Automatically retrieves the catalog from the website and updates prices and stock levels. No separate data export is required.

Displays order status to buyers when permitted.

Helps select a pickup point and place an order directly within the chat.

Shows chat history in the site admin panel, where administrators can intervene and respond manually.

Requirements:

An account in the otvet.im service. The module connects the website to the service; without an account, the chat does not respond. Registration is free and includes 300 trial responses.

Server access to otvet.im via HTTPS. The module will not work on hosting where outgoing connections are blocked.

The 'Online Store' module (Small Business edition or newer) is required for order status hints. Without it, all other features remain functional.

The module is free of charge. The paid component is the external otvet.im service to which it connects; payments are processed directly on that service. There is no recurring subscription fee.

The module's source code is fully open and contains no closed or encrypted components. Installation requires no specialized technical skills; configuration is handled by a wizard within the admin panel.

Data transmitted to otvet.im

To enable the assistant's functionality, the following data is sent to the server:

- product cards from selected information blocks: name, description, price, availability, specifications, images, and links to product pages;

- the visitor's chat history with the assistant and the website address;

- the email address of a logged-in buyer — only if the 'Identify visitors who have logged in' option is enabled. This setting is disabled by default after installation; while disabled, no visitor data is transmitted;

- order details upon the buyer's request when order assistance is enabled: order number, composition, total amount, status, delivery and payment methods, name, phone number, and delivery address.

Data that is not transmitted includes: passwords and their hashes, the license key, general site settings, the complete client database, and payment details. Each of these settings can be disabled via a checkbox in the admin panel, which immediately stops the transmission of the corresponding data.

OtvetIm is an AI widget designed for integration into websites. The service processes user requests using artificial intelligence. Terms of use, including the public offer and privacy policy, are available on the official website.
