The Basic SEO Redirects module by Luxar Group enables users to configure essential addressing parameters quickly and independently without developer assistance. The tool automatically handles redirects from the http protocol to https, and from the site version with the www subdomain to the version without it. It also consolidates site mirrors by redirecting them to the primary domain, which is required for proper indexing.
The functionality includes cleaning URLs of redundant consecutive slashes, such as replacing double slashes with a single slash. Settings are available to add or remove a trailing slash at the end of page addresses. The module automatically removes service filenames from the end of URLs, including index.php, index.html, home.htm, index.htm, index.phtml, and index.shtml.

Improved the request scheme detection mechanism. On some hosting providers, https or http was incorrectly determined.
Enhanced handling of the "Remove 'index.php' from the end of the address" option in basic redirects. Now files are processed not only named 'index.php' but also all derivatives of the names 'index' and 'home' and extensions 'php', 'html', 'htm', 'phtml', and 'shtml'.
Fixed an error when redirecting to a page without 'index.php'.
Fixed an error when changing the address in case a file or folder exists with the option 'Case in address' set to 'All letters uppercase'.
Fixed encoding in settings
New settings for each site individually and in the admin panel:
Added the ability to redirect to an address in lowercase if the address contains uppercase letters.
Added a new tab 'Additional General Settings' which sets the following options:
Check page status before redirect. Redirect only if the status is '200 OK'.
Check page certificate before redirect. Redirect only if the certificate is valid.
Enable logging of failed redirects.
- Added the ability to separately configure basic redirects for the site's administrative section.
- Handles the situation where the server's site name includes a port. For example, in a Bitrix environment, the default site address contains port 80 or 443, and a standard redirect would redirect to an empty address instead of the correct one, which is an incorrect address.
