The module provides flexible sitemap generation with detailed configuration options and the ability to exclude specific items. It includes management of redirects with support for automatic creation. Meta tag control is streamlined and integrates with other modules for filtering. The solution supports multi-site operations.
The Index Control module provides flexible Sitemap parameter configuration, allowing priority and update frequency to be set individually for each entity. For folder URLs, you can control the presence of a trailing slash; for file URLs, you can remove index.php from the path. The generated Sitemap file contains no duplicate entries. Sections with a low number of products can be excluded from the Sitemap, reducing server load and optimizing robot crawling. Only products with a price exceeding a specified threshold are included in the Sitemap. Sitemap files are generated automatically on a daily basis. Sitemap generation is managed through built-in events, enabling complex indexing conditions to be defined while conserving robot and server resources. Detailed Sitemap settings are available for each information block. Pages can be excluded from the Sitemap by mask, and rules for blocking pages in robots.txt are taken into account. The module supports fast generation of Sitemap for pages of the SEO Smart Filter from Sotbit.
The Index Control module enables editing of key SEO parameters directly from the public site interface. A unified interface allows modification of the H1 tag, canonical link, robots directives, and redirect settings. The solution is compatible with page filtering modules. Detailed descriptions of features and settings are provided in the technical documentation.
The module automatically generates redirects when catalog sections are modified, enabling seamless product relocation to new URLs. It prevents redirect chains and eliminates the creation of accidental 404 pages. The system supports importing redirect lists from CSV files. Each redirect can include a hidden comment documenting the reason or task for its creation, making it easy to distinguish between automatic and manual rules.

To enable sitemap generation, select the "Generate sitemap for Aspro solution" checkbox on the "Aspro" tab when editing the sitemap.

In the sitemap settings, the ability to specify "changefreq" and "priority" for each file and folder separately has been added.
The automatic redirects mechanism has been improved.
- Fixed an error that occurred when moving the site to another hosting, in case a hard-coded path to the site root was specified in the Sitemap settings.
- If an error occurs during sitemap generation, a notification appears in the control panel so you can fix the error in time.

- The "OnBeforeSeoTagsH1" event has been added to modify the H1 before it is inserted from the module. This is needed, for example, if the design requires the text in the h1 tag to be wrapped in a span tag.

In basic redirects, the handling of the "Remove 'index.php' at the end of the address" option has been improved. Now files are processed not only "index.php" but also all derivatives of the names "index" and "home", and extensions "php", "html", "htm", "phtml" and "shtml".

Added another basic redirect that removes multiple slashes from the address. For example, from "/catalog//" to "/catalog/", or from "/catalog///section//" to "/catalog/section/"
To enable it, go to the module settings, on your site's tab, and check the option "Clean address from multiple slashes". Also, do not forget to enable processing of basic redirects.

In the module settings, for each site individually, you can configure:
- redirect from www to non-www, and vice versa;
- redirect from http to https, and vice versa;
- redirect to an address with a trailing slash ("/") or without a slash;
- remove "index.php" from the end of the address.
The sitemap.xml settings now include the ability to manage the number of addresses in the file and the file size of the sitemap. By default, the maximum values recommended by Google are used.
- The event "OnSitemapGenerationBeforeIblockElement" has been added. It processes an information block element. You can modify the element's URL or skip generating data for this element.
- It is now possible to explicitly specify DOCUMENT_ROOT for each sitemap.xml. This is useful in multi-site setups.
- The ability to add arbitrary addresses to sitemap.xml has been implemented. This is necessary, for example, when you need to index a document located in the /local/, /bitrix/, or /upload/ folders.
- When generating sitemap.xml, settings from the Multiregion module (luxar.multiregion) are taken into account.
- The ability to work in demo mode has been added.
