The Smart Sitemap module was developed based on years of experience in creating and promoting websites of any complexity, with a specific focus on solving challenges associated with large product catalogs. It addresses key limitations of the standard 'Sitemap' module in Bitrix.
Unlike the basic solution, this extended module allows configuration of changefreq and priority parameters for pages. It supports limiting the maximum file size and the number of URLs per sitemap file.
The functionality includes automatic generation and regeneration of the sitemap with optimized server load during updates. Support for Bitrix events during generation has been added, enabling influence over the final result. Additionally, the module supports adding custom URLs, a feature absent in the standard module.
Standard tools often prove insufficient for basic search engine optimization tasks when working with large product catalogs. The Smart Sitemap module addresses these limitations by offering advanced capabilities for automatic sitemap generation, simplified management, and flexible configuration. The Smart Sitemap module by Luxar Group provides an advanced SEO sitemap with automatic generation and flexible management. Priority and update frequency parameters are configured individually for each entity. Users can add or remove trailing slashes for folders and automatically strip index.php from file paths to eliminate duplicates.
The module allows excluding sections with few products from the sitemap, reducing robot crawl frequency and server load. Only products with a price above a specified threshold are included. Sitemap files are generated automatically on a daily basis. Generation is managed via built-in events, enabling complex indexing conditions and resource optimization.
Pages can be excluded by mask, and restrictions from robots.txt are respected. Detailed sitemap settings are available for each information block. The module ensures fast generation of sitemaps for SEO Smart Filter pages from Sotbit. It supports multisite environments and is compatible with Aspro solutions.

To enable sitemap generation, check the "Generate sitemap for Aspro solution" checkbox on the "Aspro" tab when editing the sitemap.
