The Boss Mode module enables users from selected groups to temporarily access resources of other groups' portals. Activation occurs via the employee's personal menu, after which the user is automatically added to the target groups for a specified duration. This fully automates the access granting process, saving portal administrators time on manual permission management.

Flexible module settings allow changing the list of groups eligible for Boss Mode, enabling or disabling the module, and configuring different access levels to the module's settings. The tool is particularly useful for department heads, allowing them to quickly switch between the interface views seen by subordinates and their own system view, as well as temporarily elevate permissions to modify settings that are otherwise unavailable to regular employees.
