What this solution does
This module is designed for Bitrix24 users and administrators (cloud and on-premise versions) who need to locate specific messages across numerous chats, including personal, group, open lines, channels, and task chats. It is particularly valuable for companies with high internal communication volume where the built-in message search is missing or limited.
The standard Bitrix24 interface restricts text search to within a single open chat, forcing employees to manually browse through chats to find specific dates, links, or files mentioned in correspondence. This module implements comprehensive cross-search functionality across all user-accessible dialogues, including task chats.
Key features:
Search for message text simultaneously across all dialogue types: personal chats, group chats, open lines, channels, channel comments, collabs, and task chats.
Flexible result filtering by source type, allowing searches to be restricted to selected chat categories.
Search across personal chats, groups, open lines, collaborations, and tasks. Found text fragments are highlighted. Long message segments surrounding matches can be hidden by configuring a length threshold. Search opens in a side panel overlaying the messenger interface, allowing direct navigation to specific messages without leaving the current page. The search function is accessible via the top menu item and a quick access toolbar icon. The interface is responsive and functions correctly on both desktop and mobile screens. In the mobile Bitrix24 app, search is available under 'More' / Mobile App Marketplace, with the search page opening within the app and supporting direct navigation to found messages. Administrators can enable or disable search for each chat type individually and manage settings for hiding long messages. The module operates in both cloud and on-premise versions of Bitrix24, requiring the 'Chat and Video Calls' (im) module to be installed.
The 'Chat Search' module (KURATOV) operates within '1C-Bitrix: Site Management' or Bitrix24, utilizing standard PHP requirements for the current version without the need for additional extensions.
The application is fully autonomous: no connection to external paid services, APIs, or subscriptions is required. All data processing is performed exclusively within the local database of the im module in your Bitrix24 installation.
Installation is performed via the standard marketplace or admin panel and does not require special technical skills. Configuration in the options tab is intuitive and accessible to the portal administrator without programming expertise.
Search is performed only on the text content of messages accessible to the current user, adhering to standard Bitrix24 access rights. Private chats to which the user has no access are excluded from the results. Indexing of files and images is not supported; search is conducted on text only. To prevent excessive server load, the number of results per query is limited to a reasonable threshold.
