Reviews from Yandex Maps (Yandex Business)

What this solution does

The module automatically imports organization reviews from Yandex Maps to a 1C-Bitrix website, storing them in a dedicated database. The solution provides flexible moderation, responsive layout, and Schema.org microdata to enhance search engine visibility. Fourteen pre-designed layout templates are available for displaying reviews. An official Yandex widget is included as a fallback option.

The module supports scheduled automatic updates with a configurable interval. It allows working with multiple organizations simultaneously, displaying reviews for each separately. Review deduplication is implemented along with accurate calculation of the aggregate rating and number of ratings. Photos from reviews, organization responses, likes, dislikes, and author levels are imported. Avatars are cached on the site server.

Manual diagnostics are supported via "Check Connection" and "Update Now" buttons. Reviews on your own website increase visitor trust and conversion.

The review display module for Yandex Maps and Yandex Business supports various layout options: classic list, slider carousel, grid, masonry, compact list, and narrow central column. Two-column layouts are available with information positioned to the left or right of the review list or slider. Additional options include a compact bar, a central hero section, and a slider without a header. The slider supports auto-scrolling, navigation arrows, and content loading via a 'Load More' button directly within the feed. A uniform card height mode allows opening the full review text in a popup window.

Brand customization includes color settings for stars, buttons, headings, navigation, likes, card backgrounds, and secondary text. Custom heading texts and a dedicated icon for organization responses can be configured. The module features a 'Photos from Reviews' feed and aspects with auto-scrolling. A lightbox displays photos alongside the review text, while organization awards and rating badges are also supported. List sorting (by recency, positive first, or negative first) is performed via AJAX without page reload.

Administration is centralized in a single interface organized by tabs. The moderation page allows hiding or showing reviews, manual sorting, and deletion. The admin menu displays the status of the last update and the most recent error. Multi-site support enables separate display settings for each website. Administrators receive email notifications in case of a series of failures.

Quality and security

The module implements Schema.org microdata to enhance search engine display. It includes protection against SSRF attacks during avatar uploads. Compliance with the 152-FZ law on the right to delete personal data is ensured: the 'Delete permanently' function irreversibly removes the name, avatar, and review text, preventing any restoration of this data during subsequent synchronization. The interface supports localization.
