What this solution does
The Video Widgets module for 1C-Bitrix enables the placement of floating interactive blocks with video and call-to-action buttons on a website. The widget displays a compact preview that expands into a player upon interaction. It supports carousel and stories formats, along with configuration for display conditions, schedules, audience segmentation, and integration with Yandex.Metrica statistics.
The widget can direct users to various goals: submitting a request, making a phone call, following a link, clicking a page element, adding a product to the cart, or switching to a messenger. It is suitable for promotional clips, video messages, service presentations, product cards, landing pages, and short video scenarios. All settings are managed within the 1C-Bitrix administrative panel without editing templates.
Features include uploading video and poster images from local files. Photo widgets using only a static image are supported. A separate short video can be uploaded for the preview window. The module supports managing multiple independent widgets from a single control center. Individual parameters are available for each widget: video and poster selection, display format, on-page position, call-to-action configuration, and conditions based on pages, devices, audience, and schedule.
The Kommutator video widgets module supports formats: vertical, square, horizontal, circular preview, Inline, Video Carousel, and Video Stories. Carousels and stories allow for multiple clips with individual posters, titles, and captions.
Widgets can be flexibly positioned at the bottom, top, center, or side. Preview and expanded block sizes are adjustable manually.
Detailed styling is available for all elements: button colors, borders, hover states, progress bars, close icons, sound icons, text, and play buttons. Configuration options include shadows and entrance animations. Features include auto-play for previews, video looping, a top progress bar, a mute button, and a disableable timer.
The CTA button can be completely disabled or customized with specific text, colors (base and hover), border radius, dimensions, width, and CSS classes. Supported actions include opening a link, triggering an event via CSS selector, adding a product to the cart, making a phone call, sending an email, or redirecting to WhatsApp and Telegram.
Display conditions are controlled by page selection and device type. Audience segmentation considers user authorization status, user groups, cart contents, visitor type (new or returning), and GET/UTM parameters. Appearance scenarios include immediate display, timed delays, scroll-triggered events, exit-intent triggers, and activation after inactivity.
A flexible scheduling system allows display by day of the week and time, with the ability to set a unique schedule for each individual day. The module supports A/B testing for different widget variations.
The video widgets module provides built-in analytics and flexible content management. Internal statistics track impressions, opens, CTA clicks, full views, page associations, and event timelines. A detailed performance report is available, covering Open Rate, average view duration, completion rate, and CTA CTR. Users can independently configure the retention period for historical data.
The interface features a dedicated 'Widgets' page for creating independent instances. This enables distinct scenarios: a widget for the homepage, another for product pages, a third for landing pages, and separate carousels or stories for promotional pages. Each instance is configured individually regarding display conditions and visual design, eliminating the need for a single global video across the entire site.
The analytics section helps evaluate audience engagement by tracking impression counts, the number of users who opened the video, CTA click frequency, video rankings based on completion rates, page performance, and behavioral differences when using carousels, stories, or content rotation. For external integration, the system supports sending events to Yandex.Metrica with the ability to define custom goals.
The Kommutator video widgets module enables video integration on online stores, service websites, landing pages, and corporate sites. It is suitable for projects featuring video testimonials, video messages, product demonstrations, or consultation scenarios.
