Redirect Rule Management

Rules can be enabled or disabled without deletion, bulk actions can be performed on the redirect list, and configurations can be imported or exported in CSV format.

404 Error Log

The module collects all 404 errors into a dedicated log, recording the URL, request count, referer, user-agent, and IP address. Users can quickly transition from a detected 404 error to creating a new redirect rule. The system supports ignoring technical noise and automatically purging the log based on retention periods.

URL Change History

The system maintains a complete history of URL changes for information block elements and sections.

The Kommutator.redirect module manages redirects and monitors broken links, supporting HTTP status codes 301, 302, 307, and 308. It allows tracking the history of site structure changes and automatically removes outdated records upon expiration of their retention period.

The system automatically generates redirects when the URLs of information block elements or sections change, ensuring that old links remain functional after the site structure is reorganized.

URL canonicalization features include forcing the transition from http to https, managing the www mode, controlling trailing slashes, converting URLs to lowercase, and removing index.php and index.html files as well as eliminating double slashes.

The built-in redirect audit identifies duplicate rules, potential conflicts, and circular redirects. It also verifies the availability of redirect targets and allows testing which rule applies to a specific URL.

The module supports multiple sites within a single 1C-Bitrix installation. Settings can be configured individually for each site or applied globally.
