What this solution does
The Background Music module for 1C-Bitrix enables adding audio accompaniment to a website without modifying templates or manually editing pages. Configuration is performed via the administrative panel with granular control: settings can be applied to individual sites, the entire resource, specific sections, or specific pages.
The solution is suitable for scenarios where creating an atmosphere and enhancing the emotional perception of content are priorities.
Key Features
1. Playback Rules
A set of rules can be created for each site. Each rule specifies:
- Audio file;
- Playback location;
- Application priority;
- Autoplay;
- Looping;
- Volume level;
- Preload mode.
When multiple rules exist, the administrator manually defines their priority and execution order.
2. Multi-site Architecture Support
The module supports the standard multi-site architecture of 1C-Bitrix. Within a single installation, each site maintains independent settings:
- Playback rules;
- Access restrictions;
- Button display parameters;
- Schedule;
- White and black page lists.
This ensures flexible management of the module's behavior across different sites with varying designs and functionality.
3. Display Restrictions
The background music module provides flexible control over playback based on the website context. You can configure it to display only on specific pages or sections while excluding others. The module supports hiding music on mobile devices and restricting playback by time schedule or day of the week. This setup is ideal for temporary campaigns, holiday sections, evening content, or promotional pages.
Multiple playback scenarios are available: automatic start, initiation only after the first user interaction, continuous looping, pausing when switching to another browser tab, smooth fade-in and fade-out effects, and manual control via a button. These features allow the audio behavior to align with marketing goals and browser technical limitations.
The appearance and behavior of the control button are configured in the administrative panel. Settings include position, horizontal and vertical margins, size, transparency, shadow, and border with customizable color and thickness. Users can change the button color, the default icon color, and upload custom icons for the 'sound on' and 'sound off' states.
The module includes a built-in preview feature that displays the button's appearance directly within the settings interface.
Supported Formats
Audio files for playback rules can be uploaded in the following formats: mp3, ogg, wav, aac, m4a.
Button Icons
Custom button icons can be provided in these formats: svg, png, jpg, jpeg, gif.
