What this solution does
Website Monitoring is a service for the automatic verification of security, software versions, and configuration of websites and portals built on Bitrix: Site Management and Bitrix24 platforms.
The tool enables immediate detection of issues without manual audits, without the blind spots typical of universal monitoring systems, and without surprises caused by missed updates or open CVE vulnerabilities.
The service regularly captures a snapshot of the website state and checks more than 55 parameters across 8 categories:
Verification of the proactive filter (WAF) to confirm the built-in firewall is active.
Control of Bitrix core, PHP environment, and MySQL database versions with a relevance indicator.
Verification of OTP or two-factor authentication settings for administrator accounts.
Cross-referencing with the vulnerability database for Bitrix modules, including third-party extensions.
Check of access restrictions for the /admin section by IP address.
Execution of the built-in Configuration Check, comprising more than 30 tests.
Monitoring of the database debug mode on a live production site.
Control of Information Blocks, Highload Blocks, as well as user lists and groups.
Verification of the Bitrix antivirus status and current reaction mode.
Sending notifications to Telegram and via email after each snapshot.
Visualization of metrics in graphs and display of change history for analyzing the website state over time.
The 'Site and Portal Monitoring' module by ITECH is designed for the rapid detection of failures within the '1C-Bitrix' environment. The tool allows monitoring the status of a single corporate website or portal without the need for constant manual checks. It supports managing a portfolio of ten or more websites through a unified dashboard with grouping by projects and environments (Production/Development). The solution is effective for agencies and contractors managing multiple clients who require proactive response capabilities. The system ensures immediate identification of vulnerable sites upon the release of new Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and eliminates the routine manual auditing of dozens of resources, including checks of the administrative panel, configurations, versions, and certificates.
Key Features
Deep Internal Environment Analysis
Unlike Zabbix, Uptime Robot, and Pingdom, which check only the external layer (HTTP availability, Time To First Byte, SSL certificates, domain expiration dates, and security headers), 'Bitrix Monitoring' analyzes the internal state. The tool identifies issues inaccessible to universal systems: proactive filter errors, OTP failures, database debugging problems, and module vulnerabilities.
Reduced Time to Detect Failures
Automatic snapshot creation replaces manual audits and the waiting period for user complaints. Notifications about detected issues are sent to Telegram and via email immediately after the check is completed. The solution's architecture is designed with security requirements in mind.
The solution is a lightweight module for 1C-Bitrix that operates without a server-side agent. It requires no root access, does not execute shell commands, and does not read the database, files, or source code. The monitoring server receives only data that the module itself compiles into JSON format. Passwords, tokens, and personal data are not stored; only technical metrics are retained. Connections are outbound only: the site sends data via the HTTPS protocol, while the monitoring server does not initiate connections to the client's infrastructure.
Connection setup takes three steps and requires no code modifications.
The workflow consists of three stages. First, create an account and add the site, which takes less than a minute. Next, install the 1C-Bitrix module and enter the site token from your personal account. Finally, the module automatically sends snapshots, and you receive notifications about issues in a messenger.
The service is designed for companies using sites or portals on 1C-Bitrix where it is critical to identify problems before customers report them. It suits IT managers and marketers responsible for a single site, IT teams managing a portfolio of ten or more sites, as well as agencies and contractors supporting their clients' sites on the 1C-Bitrix platform.
General iT can handle the implementation of “Site and portal monitoring”, from installation to configuration and compatibility checks.
