The solution is effective for sites with a configured 1C-Bitrix composite technology, as well as for resources with regular updates to product assortment, prices, or characteristics.
The 1C-Bitrix composite technology is a page loading acceleration mechanism. It splits content into a static part (cached) and a dynamic part (loaded via AJAX). This approach reduces the time to first paint and lowers server load.
The facet index in 1C-Bitrix is a specialized structure where property values of infoblock elements are pre-aggregated to optimize smart filter performance. Using this index allows filtering and counting elements by each value directly through the index, bypassing main tables. This significantly increases query processing speed and reduces database load.
INRAISE Module: Composite for Smart Filter Pages and SEO Modules
The module activates the 1C-Bitrix composite technology for smart filter pages (bitrix:catalog.smart.filter component) and landing pages created using smart filter SEO modules. By default, the bitrix:catalog.smart.filter component does not support composite technology, even when pages have permanent URLs. This module resolves this limitation and enables composite technology for these pages without requiring additional manual configuration.
The module resolves the error of missing 301 redirects for smart filter pages when composite technology is enabled. When using the SEO smart filter module alongside composite technology, the redirect from old URLs to new ones may stop working.
Composite technology is activated immediately after module installation and requires no additional configuration. The module can be deactivated globally or individually for each site if needed. The caching status of smart filter pages can be verified in the administrative panel under 'Composite Pages': /bitrix/admin/composite_pages.php?lang=ru. Important: composite technology must be enabled and configured on the site.
The second component provides automatic faceted index updates. The module maintains the accuracy of smart filter data on 1C-Bitrix sites without manual administrator intervention and without affecting site performance for visitors.
The module monitors the state of the catalog's facet index and triggers re-indexing in the background on a scheduled basis. Updates are applied gradually to prevent server overload. Once indexing is complete, the smart filter cache is automatically cleared. All processes run on the server side and are independent of user actions on the site.
To function correctly, the module requires the 1C-Bitrix agents to be configured for execution via cron. This is a mandatory requirement for the solution.
