Environment requirements:
For the module to function correctly, the CURL library must be installed and working properly on the server.
When needed, General iT can implement “Chatbot for communicating with DEEPSEEK”, configure the module and verify it against the current website setup.
UPDATE HISTORY
Security fixes and compatibility with PHP 8.2+:
- Fixed the access group check for the chat bot (the wrong user was being checked); if no groups are selected, access is denied (upon update, access is granted to the administrators group);
- Saving settings is protected against CSRF and requires write permission for the module;
- The DeepSeek API key is no longer displayed in the HTML of the settings page;
- Output escaping on the settings page and in the installation wizard, and HTML cleaning in bot responses;
- Connection errors to the API are written to the log, not displayed on the screen;
- Request timeouts to the DeepSeek API have been added;
- Compatibility with PHP 7.4 - 8.5 (warnings and deprecated calls have been removed).
