What this solution does

The BBcoding Passkey module enables fast login to 1C-Bitrix sites using biometrics: face recognition, fingerprint, or device passcode. Biometric data is processed exclusively on the user's device and is never transmitted to the server. Standard password entry remains available as a fallback authentication method.

The module adds a Passkey login button to standard 1C-Bitrix forms, including the administrative section. Conditional UI is supported in compatible browsers, allowing the system to automatically offer a saved key when the login field is focused. The button can be placed in non-standard forms using CSS selectors while maintaining the functionality of standard login forms.

Administrators can precisely define the button's position within a form and separately configure its alignment for public pages and the administrative section. The button's appearance is fully customizable, including text, icon, theme, style, size, width, border radius, and padding, with a safe preview feature. After a standard login, users are offered the option to create a Passkey in a compact block on the page or in a separate window.

The BBcoding Passkey module enables fast login using biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint) or WebAuthn passkeys. It provides a ready-made page for adding keys to the personal account menu, along with a PHP component and JavaScript API for integration into a custom site template. The solution supports multiple sites and domains within a single installation. Authorized users can add multiple keys to their account. Administrators have access to the module status, brief statistics, and an event log, and can revoke one or all keys for a specific user. The system reports an error if a login attempt is made with a deleted or revoked key. Standard login via username and password remains available. Operation requires HTTPS, 1C-Bitrix with the main module version 24.0.0 or newer, and PHP 8.2–8.4 with OpenSSL and cURL libraries installed. The module does not replace system authentication components, does not modify the core or site templates, and does not send data to the developer or third-party services. The appearance of the key selection or creation window is determined by the user's browser and device.
