What this solution does
The 'Export Products to Google Merchants' module enables automatic product export to Google Merchant Center. Data is generated in XML format and can be saved as a separate file or accessed via a web page.
The full functionality of this module is included in the broader 'Export Products to Trading Portals' solution, which also contains an XML export module for other trading platforms.
For evaluating the effectiveness of work with trading platforms, the use of the roistat.com cross-channel business analytics system is recommended.
Before installation, please review the 'Important Limitations' section located at the end of the description.
Extensive product publication enhances competitiveness and increases site conversion by ensuring presence on external platforms. The module enables automatic setup of dynamic remarketing in Google, saving time on manual data export.
The tool offers flexible export configuration, including selection of one or multiple information blocks, support for multi-site environments, and various character encodings. It works with both trade catalogs and standard information blocks in Bitrix versions starting from 'First Site'. The solution supports processing trade offers, transferring trade sections for products, and using information block names as catalog section titles. Export settings can be detailed down to the final catalog subsections.
The module enables exporting the full hierarchical path of a product category, from the root level down to the final node. It supports exporting only product offers while automatically attaching their parent product categories. The system can automatically populate missing data in an offer from the parent product, such as weight or description, if these fields are left empty in the offer itself.
Configuration of field requirements allows excluding items with missing mandatory values from the export; such cases are logged as errors. The conditions and condition groups feature enables filtering the catalog to exclude products that do not meet specific criteria, optimizing the export volume and preventing wasteful ad spend on irrelevant items.
The tool supports URL encoding of strings, case conversion for exported values, escaping of special characters, and complete removal of special characters. It also includes functionality to convert HTML markup to plain text and to limit the length of strings during truncation.
The Google Merchant export module provides flexible data management before transmission. It allows limiting the number of selected values from multiple fields and applying rounding functions to numeric parameters. Conversion and replacement of values are available for individual fields or the entire file.
Data transmission configuration supports values from information block fields with their properties, custom values, section names, section IDs, and custom section properties. For required tags where a specific value is missing, a constant value can be assigned to all products simultaneously.
The module supports sending complex values to tags based on specified conditions: the tag receives a field from the 'yes' branch or the 'no' branch depending on the condition. It also enables generating composite values formed from a set of fields. This allows creating titles that simultaneously include the name, brand, article number, and model, which is critical for properly configuring advertising campaigns.
The module enables product export to Google Merchant with support for category mapping directories. Users can configure the correspondence between their product categories and Google categories. Multicurrency support is available in accordance with the module's global currency settings. Conversion is implemented using the site's exchange rate or public rates, along with a currency rounding function. The functionality allows creating complex export conditions and condition groups to filter elements and exclude unwanted items from the export. Module operation logging is configured to send a report on the results of each export to an email address. Automatic server capacity calculation helps determine optimal module settings to minimize server load during import. The module has been tested with exports exceeding 1.2 million info block elements, confirming its reliability for processing large data volumes. Both manual and automatic export modes are supported.
The module supports step-by-step data export to a file with a configurable batch size for the number of products processed per step. An automated system tests website and server settings, issuing warnings if required libraries are missing to prevent module errors. A cache protection mechanism prevents portals from loading cached export data. The module supports XML and CSV formats, enabling the creation of distributor feeds and Excel price lists. Export files can be compressed into ZIP archives to accelerate the transfer of large catalogs. It offers both standard and scheduled automatic export modes, allowing any interval in minutes to be set. Multi-threaded file generation reduces processing time proportionally to the number of specified threads. A demo mode is available for independent verification, limited to exporting 50 products.
In demo mode, the export is limited to 50 products per profile.
The conditions functionality does not work in the 'First Site', 'Start', 'Standard', and 'Expert' editions because it requires the 'Trade Catalog' module, which is not included in these versions.
Full compatibility is guaranteed only with the current stable versions of the '1C-Bitrix: Site Management' platform. Although the module is theoretically compatible with versions starting from 14.0.8, we support operation exclusively on stable releases.
Free technical support is provided only when access to the site is available. Server configuration for the client and fixing errors in the standard 1C-Bitrix system tests are performed on a paid basis. Before installing the module, ensure that all site tests pass without errors.
Refunds for the purchased solution are not possible, as Russian legislation defines this as a license for use rather than a product or service.
To work with social network integration, a minimum PHP version of 5.4 is required; version 5.6 is recommended.
Some trading platforms impose specific requirements on images. Currently, the recommended resolution for photographs is 2160×3840 pixels (UHD/4K). This parameter must be considered when generating exported data.
A Limited License (an active module license with an expired term) grants the user the right to use the application's functional capabilities provided under the Standard License. This excludes the right to receive new versions (updates) of the application, technical support, updates to category directories, and the operation of export profiles for Google News and the facebook.com platform.
