What this solution does
The module is designed for companies renting construction, warehouse, event, and other special equipment. The system covers the full operational cycle: from publishing equipment on the website to issuing it to the client, accounting for maintenance schedules and actual availability.
Key capabilities:
A unified center for managing bookings, requests, and maintenance schedules.
Role-based access control for managers with restrictions on editing PHP code.
Automatic notifications for clients and staff.
Intuitive date selection for visitors using calendar drag-and-drop.
Advantages:
Full autonomy. The module operates without connecting to external cloud services.
No hidden subscriptions. Unlike SaaS solutions, the module does not require purchasing external licenses and uses the built-in Bitrix mail system, eliminating additional costs.
Data security compliance (152-FZ). Requests, orders, maintenance schedules, and booking history remain within the corporate database, ensuring the confidentiality of client personal data.
Administrator functionality:
Occupancy chessboard (booking calendar)
A visual tool for monitoring fleet utilization. A single interface displays all equipment units and their daily statuses: booked (confirmed order), rented (issued to client), under maintenance or scheduled service, and website requests awaiting processing. Color coding allows for immediate assessment of available slots and quick decision-making regarding bookings.
Request and order management features a counter for new requests in the administrative menu and a dedicated filtered list for rapidly processing incoming website inquiries. Confirmed requests are automatically converted into orders and stored in a separate information block. Each order is strictly linked to a specific catalog item, enabling one-click navigation between the order card and the equipment card in both directions.
The access rights system is role-based and flexible: Closed (D) denies access entirely; View (R) allows data reading only; Rental Management (W) provides full control over bookings, orders, and statuses.
Upon installation, the module automatically creates a 'Rental Managers' group with rights to manage the module, but without the ability to edit PHP code to protect the core.
The public section features a catalog with an intelligent 'Available on dates' filter. The system displays only equipment free during the specified period; past dates are automatically blocked.
Each equipment card includes a photo gallery, daily rental price, deposit amount (insurance sum), an interactive availability calendar with highlighting of free and occupied days, and a request submission button.
The request form uses a phone mask for correct number entry. The total amount (price × number of days + deposit) is calculated automatically and updates in real time when dates are selected. The rental period is chosen by dragging across the calendar, allowing users to highlight start and end dates with a single mouse movement. After submission, the user receives a direct link to a personal page for tracking the request status.
4. E-mail notifications
The manager receives an email with request details: equipment list, rental dates, client contact information, and total amount.
The client receives a confirmation email containing the request data and a link to check the status.
General iT can install and configure this solution and build a website or online store based on it.
