Users can define rectangular, circular, and arbitrary regions on images, assign colors, titles, and descriptions, and link clicks to external URLs or infoblock cards. The module is suitable for the following use cases:
Real estate and developers. Interactive master plans for cottage settlements, floor plans for new buildings, and business center layouts. Color coding allows clients to instantly identify the status of plots or apartments: available, reserved, or sold.
Shopping malls and exhibition centers. Schemes showing the location of pavilions, stores, and food courts.
Auto dealers and service centers. Interactive diagrams of vehicle components. Hovering over a part triggers a tooltip with its name and a link to the parts catalog.
Educational and reference projects. Visualization of diagrams, plans, and infographics with explanatory text.
Online stores. Exploded-view diagrams of products with labeled parts.
Key capabilities include the creation of three shape types: rectangle, circle or ellipse, and arbitrary polygon.
Interactive image mapping for creating clickable maps. The editor supports dragging regions, resizing them, and adjusting polygon vertices. Each area can be configured with a color, title, and description. Tools include canvas scaling, zoom reset, object alignment, and grid snapping. Features include undo/redo, duplication, and layer management. Clicking a region can open a link, navigate to an element, section, or page type of an information block, or display a modal window. On the website, the map displays tooltips, titles, hover-only states, or a legend table. Publishing is handled by the xlogic:markup.map component or via the #code# shortcode. The system automatically adapts the map when the browser window is resized or the source file is replaced. Copying maps within the list is supported.
When needed, General iT can implement “Image region markup — interactive maps for a website”, configure the module and verify it against the current website setup.

xlogic:markup.map component: CSS/JS assets are loaded on cache hit (component_epilog.php).
Cache invalidation for maps upon saving, deleting, or activating (cache version + tagged cache).
LANGUAGE_ID added to the cache key (correct language for modal labels on multilingual sites).
The #code# shortcode is disabled by default; the component is preferred.
