Data is stored in Highload-blocks, ensuring high performance and configuration flexibility.
This solution is suitable for product or service categories, rubrics, and sub-rubrics; geographic directories (Country → Region → City → District); and hierarchical classifiers (OKVED, job types, positions).
The module supports deep trees with unlimited nesting, where the actual level depends only on settings. Flexible selection modes are available: users can restrict selection to only leaf elements (final items), only root nodes, or any node in the tree. The 'Maximum Depth' setting allows control over available selection levels. An embedded filter line above the list enables fast search by name. Filtering of directory records by the activity field UF_ACTIVE is also supported.
The tree directory module based on a Highload block automatically updates the list of available fields (parent, name, sorting) when a block is selected. The system performs validation by verifying that the selected value exists and meets specified criteria, including depth and node type.
