What this solution does
The Shortcodes module for 1C-Bitrix allows you to create any content block once and insert it anywhere on the site using a short code: {code} or #CODE#. This eliminates the need to edit dozens of pages when updating phone numbers, addresses, tax details, analytics counters, or banners. Changing a variable value once automatically updates it everywhere: in page content, meta tags, component templates, emails, and even in the site header and footer.
The module supports seven variable types: text, HTML code (with a visual editor), image, script, date, and time. Two insertion syntaxes are available: {code} for pages and templates, and #CODE# for email templates and fields. Substitution works in page content, page headers, meta tags (Title, Description, Keywords), element names, email event fields, and the assembled email body (subject and content) before sending.
The Script type is designed for inserting map codes (Yandex Maps, Google Maps), analytics tools (Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, VK Pixel), lead capture services (Roistat, Callibri, Envybox), chat widgets (Bitrix24, Jivo), video players (YouTube, VK), Schema.org in JSON format, and any other scripts.
The HTML code type is edited in the standard Bitrix visual editor, allowing you to create banners, blocks, and snippets without needing HTML knowledge.
Template integration: for Script, HTML code, and PHP code types, you can specify the insertion point at the beginning or end of the head tag or body tag. In this case, the shortcode does not need to be placed in the page content; it is automatically inserted on all pages of the site.
Site binding: a variable can be displayed on all sites in the network or on a specific site, supporting multisite functionality.
User binding: content can be shown to all visitors, specific groups, or individual users. This is convenient for hidden promotions, internal blocks, and test scripts.
Images: support includes Alt, Title, width, height fields, as well as additional attributes such as data-*, loading, and referrerpolicy.
Caching: uses Bitrix tagged caching, which is automatically cleared whenever a variable is changed, ensuring fast site performance.
The VERSHA Shortcodes module enables management of complex code blocks through unified variables. The administrator interface features a dedicated VERSHA → Shortcodes section with a dropdown menu containing Shortcodes List and Settings items. Code {code} and #CODE# are copied to the clipboard instantly upon clicking in the list or on the editing page. Each variable can be temporarily disabled without deletion and sorted according to specified criteria. The interface is fully supported in Russian and English thanks to built-in language files.
This tool optimizes workflows for content managers who do not need to edit every page to update phone numbers, addresses, details, or banners. Marketers gain the ability to centrally manage counters, pixels, and lead capture tools. Developers move frequently repeated blocks and code fragments into variables, avoiding the excessive creation of components. Agencies simplify project maintenance and reduce the volume of template edits for clients.
Typical scenarios include storing a phone number and address in a single variable for automatic updates across the site header and footer. Scripts, such as Yandex.Metrica code, are configured as Script type with insertion at the end of the head tag, ensuring connection on all pages without modifying the template. Promotional banners are created as HTML code in the visual editor and placed on required pages using a single code snippet.
The module enables the insertion of complex blocks into site content using shortcodes. In emails, the #REQUISITES# variable of the Text type is automatically inserted into all email templates. A block labeled 'wholesale clients only' of the Text type is also available, with access restricted to a specific user group. Variable management is secured and accessible only to site administrators. The module files do not modify core system files, except for creating two wrappers in the /bitrix/admin/ directory, which is standard practice for modules with a public part. The product is compatible with the Start, Standard, Small Business, Business, and Enterprise editions of 1C-Bitrix: Site Management. The D7 core is required, and PHP 8.2 support is mandatory. The module supports multisite and multilingual environments.
