What this solution does

Tridereva: Smart Search extends the standard 1C-Bitrix search capabilities, enabling product discovery by name, article number, and selected properties. The system automatically corrects typos, keyboard layout errors, and transliteration issues, while supporting synonyms, suggestions, and manual ranking rules.

The key distinction is the strict priority of exact matches over similar ones, with administrators able to verify the reasoning behind each ranking result.

Algorithm examples:

The query "platie" is recognized as the word "platie" (dress).

The character sequence "gkfnmt" is converted from an incorrect keyboard layout to the word "platie" (dress).

The article number "144-12-xx" leads to the corresponding product.

Configured synonyms link user queries with catalog names.

The recognized query is displayed to the user without hiding the original formulation. Results are distributed across strict relevance levels: pinned position, exact article number, exact name, match of all words, properties, prefix, morphology, layout or transliteration, synonym, corrected typo, and weak match in the description. Price, availability, and image affect the order only within the same level. A product with a similar word cannot be ranked higher than a result with a full match. The search operates across the catalog and trade offers.

The search profile can include required information blocks, tags, and properties such as article number, brand, manufacturer, specifications, and SKU data. Matched suggestions are automatically linked to the parent product.

Suggestions and full results

The component tridereva:finder.input implements a search string with interactive suggestions. The component tridereva:finder.results provides full results output with pagination and messages regarding query corrections.

Suggestions are controlled via the keyboard, automatically cancel outdated queries, and safely highlight matches. The suggestion interface can display an image, title, article number, price, and stock availability.

Management in the standard Bitrix administration panel

The interface includes profiles for full results and suggestions. Information blocks and properties are selected by name. Features include typo correction, keyboard layout handling, transliteration, and synonym management. Results can be pinned, demoted, or excluded from the output. Additional tools include a typo dictionary, background tasks, query analytics, and a change log.

Relevance Laboratory

This feature allows entering a test query to evaluate the ranking of found items and analyze why each result appeared in the output. Reference queries can be saved for re-testing after configuration changes. All data remains on your server.

The "Three Trees: Smart Search" module operates on top of the standard 1C-Bitrix search index without sending the catalog to external search services. It uses its own database tables for settings, terminology dictionaries, rules, tasks, and analytics, eliminating the need for a separate document copy.

The system does not store IP addresses. Before recording an analytics event, email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, and fragments resembling order numbers are masked. Analytics collection can be disabled.

Safe Implementation

The module does not modify the core system and does not automatically switch the active search. It can initially be tested on a separate private page, and after acceptance, its components can be integrated into the site template. To revert changes, simply restore the previously used components.
