What this solution does

Holiday Decor is a module for festive website decoration on the 1C-Bitrix platform. It enables the addition of visual effects including falling snow, snowball animations on click, garland ornaments, decorative image-based headers and footers, and a themed cursor. All settings are configured via the administrative panel without modifying source code.

The module facilitates rapid website preparation for New Year, Christmas, February 14, February 23, March 8, May 9, Halloween, as well as for custom promotions and events.

Module capabilities:

1. Holiday Presets

Scenarios are available for New Year, Christmas, February 14, February 23, March 8, May 9, and Halloween.

A separate 'Custom' preset is provided for any promotion.

For each holiday, settings include enable/disable toggles and display periods (start and end dates).

2. Background Effects

The system implements falling elements.

The Holiday Decor module allows adding animated elements to a website for any occasion. It includes background effects such as falling snow, snowflakes, hearts, petals, candies, bats, and other figures. Effect density is adjustable via the appearance interval in milliseconds. Users can create custom sets using Font Awesome icons.

Click-triggered effects are supported, including round 'snowballs', snowflakes, hearts, flowers, candies, fireworks, and pumpkins. A separate mode allows for arbitrary Font Awesome icons. The effect color is individually configurable. A limit is set on the maximum number of clickable elements displayed simultaneously on the screen.

Fixed elements can be positioned at the top or bottom of the page. Options include built-in garland-toys, rows of Font Awesome icons, and graphic strips for the header and footer. The system supports image upload or selection, along with width-based repetition settings (background-repeat). Sprites based on HTML/CSS/JS enable the integration of ready-made garlands from third-party solutions. All fixed elements are configured in a separate directory and assigned to specific holidays.

The Holiday Cursor feature replaces the standard cursor with a Font Awesome icon (snowflake, heart, etc.) near the pointer. The icon class and color are configurable. A dedicated preview parameter allows for temporary cursor replacement. The module interface provides convenient preview capabilities for all settings.

Enable preview mode by adding the parameter holidecor_preview=Y. The administrator control panel appears at the bottom of the screen and is visible only to users with admin privileges. It allows toggling snow, click effects, and fixed elements.

The module provides performance control for each holiday individually. You can adjust the frequency of falling objects, limit the maximum number of simultaneously active click effects, and disable entire groups of visual elements, including backgrounds, click reactions, or fixed items. If needed, the module can be completely disabled with a single toggle.
