Real estate import from Profitbase

What this solution does

The module provides automatic import of real estate catalogs from Profitbase to websites built on 1C-Bitrix. It is designed for developers and real estate agencies that maintain data on apartments, commercial premises, parking spaces, and storage rooms in Profitbase. The system stores current prices, statuses (available, reserved, sold), layouts, and object characteristics.

Without integration, data must be entered manually, leading to delays and the display of outdated information, or require a costly and time-consuming custom development project. The module eliminates these risks: after a one-time setup (specifying the API address, access key, and mapping object types to site sections), it automatically updates site information blocks on a schedule. This removes the need for manual data entry and developer involvement in regular catalog updates.

This module is designed for web studios and integrators developing 1C-Bitrix websites for developers using a Profitbase catalog. It provides a ready-made integration point for data import, eliminating the need to build custom solutions from scratch for each project. For site administrators, the tool ensures automatic updates of property prices and statuses, keeping them aligned with data entered by managers in Profitbase without manual intervention.

The module imports the following data:

Residential complexes with master plans and zone coordinates.

Buildings with addresses and links to specific residential complexes.

Building floor plans (chessboards) showing object locations by floor and section.

Apartment layouts with images and technical diagrams, supporting multiple diagrams per layout.

Floor plans with graphical images and object coordinates.

Real estate objects: apartments, commercial real estate, parking spaces, and storage rooms, including area, price, status, and links to the building, layout, and floor plan.

The module provides automatic import of real estate data from the Profitbase system. When new fields are detected in the source, they are automatically converted into infoblock properties. Two image handling modes are supported: downloading files to the server for local storage or retaining only links to Profitbase resources. Synchronization can be triggered manually via the «Services → Profitbase» menu with a visual progress indicator or scheduled via a cron agent. To optimize server load, the import uses checksums: elements unchanged in Profitbase are not overwritten. Objects removed from sale in the source are automatically deactivated during scheduled runs. All synchronization events and errors are logged in the standard 1C-Bitrix event log.

Requirements and limitations

An active Profitbase account with configured API access (via the «Profitbase API» application in the Profitbase personal cabinet) is required for the module to function. The cost of accessing the Profitbase service and its subscription fees are not included in the module price and must be paid directly by the user to Profitbase. Additionally, the standard 1C-Bitrix «Information Blocks» (iblock) module must be installed.

The module provides one-way synchronization of data from Profitbase to the website. Any manual changes made to item cards on the site will be overwritten during the next synchronization.

The exact structure of data returned by Profitbase (including the /property endpoint and others) depends on the specific connected application and project settings within the Profitbase personal account. After installation, it is recommended to verify that all necessary fields, such as area, price, and status, are mapped correctly using a test dataset.

The module contains only the administrative import logic and does not include components or templates for the public part of the site. Displaying the catalog (item cards, grid, filters, etc.) must be implemented using your own markup or components based on the created information blocks.

The source code is fully open and contains no obfuscated or encoded sections.
