What this solution does
Professional integration between 1C-Bitrix and MailChimp.
On many sites, email marketing operates separately from the CMS: users register on the site, orders are placed in the online store, and subscriptions are collected via standard modules. Consequently, data must be entered into MailChimp manually, leading to outdated lists and a lack of segmentation. The "MailChimp — Integration" module bridges this gap: users, subscribers, and segments are synchronized with MailChimp automatically in both directions without manual transfer or developer involvement.
The solution is professionally maintained: it is updated for PHP 8.1+ and current versions of the "Main Module," has passed security checks, and synchronization errors are logged in the system journal rather than being silently lost.
If the standard configuration is insufficient—for example, if CRM integration, non-standard segmentation, specific fields, or a custom business process is required—the developer can implement these features as a custom order. Describe your task in a ticket, and we will analyze your specific situation.
Capabilities
✔ Synchronization with the "Email Marketing" module
The module provides two-way synchronization with the MailChimp service. Data transfer from the site to MailChimp reflects changes in subscriptions (addition, update, deletion) in real time. A manual bulk export of the subscriber list is also available. Audience segmentation is possible based on the following parameters: activity, first name, last name, registration date, last authorization date, site registration ID, and a static set of addresses. Data transfer from MailChimp to the site is performed manually, with the option to choose an action when an existing address is found.
Integration with the 'Subscription, Mailing' module allows configuring the subscription format (text, HTML, or as in the site category) and confirmation status (confirmed, confirmation required, or as in the category). When importing from MailChimp, you can select the format and status for new or updated subscriptions, and manage the sending of confirmation emails.
Integration with the 'Main Module' implements automatic subscription to MailChimp lists for both new and existing site users.
The module supports audience segmentation based on user fields: activity, first name, last name, registration date, last login date, and registration site ID. Subscriber geolocation transfer is available when the GeoIP API module is installed.
Synchronization with the 'Online Store' module is implemented. When an order is placed, the system creates a new subscriber or updates an existing one. Email and name are taken from the order if provided; other fields are populated from the user profile according to the 'Main Module' settings.
Synchronization errors are recorded in both the system log and the module log.
Planned features include integration with CRM systems, integration with email events, and automatic (not just manual) import of subscribers from MailChimp.
