What this solution does
The Specialist Appointment module enables online booking for consultations, appointments, and individual sessions on websites powered by 1C-Bitrix: Site Management. Visitors independently select a specialist, a service, a date, and an available time slot. The booking form opens in a modal window or is embedded on the page. Applications, clients, schedules, specialist pages, and reviews are managed through the Bitrix administrative panel.
The module supports creating specialist profiles with descriptions and photos, configuring working days, hours, and intervals, and controlling display order, hiding, and removal of records while preserving visit history. Services support exact pricing, starting prices, or price ranges with precision down to kopecks. The calendar of available dates checks specialist availability and prevents simultaneous or duplicate bookings.
The application management system includes status tracking, manager comments, search, filters, and paginated output. The client card contains a general note, visit history, and amounts by currency. The form field builder configures data collection and consent for processing, utilizing the Bitrix consent log. The user personal cabinet displays appointments, allows cancellation of future unpaid visits, enables repeat bookings, and supports series of up to 12 visits for services without online payment.
Specialist pages support text blocks, galleries, files, and video content from VK Video or Rutube. The order of blocks and attachments can be customized.
The review system supports ratings from 1 to 5 stars, includes moderation, calculates average ratings, and displays reviews across multiple pages.
Administrators receive notifications via email, SMS, and Telegram after configuring the respective channels.
Services can be linked to catalog items, enabling order creation and payment through the standard Bitrix payment system. The module tracks statistics for both paid and unpaid orders.
Settings and data are isolated per website. Access rights for viewing and management are implemented, and the administrative menu consists of nine sub-sections.
All listed features are included in a single module license; no additional Webasyst plugins are required. The branch and resource mechanisms are not used; availability is calculated individually per specialist.
System requirements include PHP 8.2 or higher, main core 24.0.0 or higher, UTF-8 encoding, and MySQL or MariaDB with the InnoDB engine. The GD and Fileinfo extensions are required for image processing. The booking feature without payment is available with the main module only. Online payment and item linking require the additional sale, catalog, iblock, and currency modules. Sending SMS requires a configured messageservice. The module interface is in Russian. Compatibility has been verified with the Business CMS running main version 26.150.0, PHP 8.2 or 8.3, and MySQL 9.6. PostgreSQL is not supported.
Terms of use and limitations
Site owners independently place pages containing this component; the installer does not modify the template appearance or the structure of the public site menu. Specialist profiles and the reviews section continue to function even if the online booking feature is disabled. The component renders without using composite caching; compatibility with any third-party templates must be verified on the specific site.
Configuration of the mail server, SMS gateway, payment service, and Telegram connection is performed separately. Tariffs and commissions for these services are set by their respective providers and are not included in the module price; the developer does not sell additional feature packs or limits. Notification delivery depends on the site configuration and the chosen provider. Enabling notifications handles the transfer of data specified in the template to a specific recipient or service. Videos are loaded from the VK Video or Rutube platforms when the page opens.
Supported image formats are JPG, PNG, and WebP with a maximum size of 10 MB; other files are supported up to 25 MB. Attachments on public pages are accessible to visitors via direct links. Placing confidential documents in these blocks is not recommended. Deleted attachments and drafts are retained in storage until the module explicitly removes the data.
Automatic data import from Webasyst is not supported. When the module is uninstalled normally, data is retained; a separate procedure is required for complete removal. Standard store orders are preserved. A 7-day trial period is provided via the Market system. Upon expiration, the module's functionality is disabled, but the data remains intact.
General iT can install “Appointment with a specialist”, configure its settings and verify its operation in the existing project.
