This version is a simplified variant of the software product 'Mibok: Version for the Visually Impaired (Website Module)'. Key differences from the full version include the absence of text-to-speech technology (audio narration of page text), the lack of a GOST R compliance certificate, and the absence of registration in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases. Other minor differences also apply.

Creating a specialized website version is a mandatory requirement under GOST R 52872-2019. For government organizations, adherence to these norms is mandated by the Federal Law 'On Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities in the Russian Federation'. The tool ensures content accessibility for users with disabilities, which is also valuable for commercial organizations aiming to attract and retain their audience.

The state standard for internet resources establishes unified requirements for all aspects of information presentation on a website, ranging from link formatting to personal data protection systems. The document defines three accessibility levels for users with visual impairments: Level A (minimum accessibility), Level AA (full information accessibility), and Level AAA (specialized resources for people with visual limitations).

Every website must adhere to the principles of perceivability, operability, understandability, and reliability. This means each interface element must be adapted to ensure comfortable use by visually impaired users without causing difficulties.

The use of frames is prohibited on such sites. All links must include a text description of the target page, and images must have text descriptions of their content. Additionally, every website must provide a text version. All non-text media content, including videos, audio recordings, and images, must be duplicated in an adapted text format, such as transcripts or detailed descriptions.

Website design must ensure sufficient color contrast, and color alone cannot serve as the sole method for visually identifying elements. GOST R 52872-2019 contains approximately 150 requirements distributed across two sections of the document. Consequently, every website must include a version for visually impaired users that provides the same information as the full site but in an accessible format.

The Mibok module 'Slabovid LITE: Version for the Visually Impaired' enables this functionality in minutes. Upon installation, the module generates a new template for the content management system. A switch is added to the site allowing users to toggle between versions. Each page's content is available in two formats: the main version and the accessible version. Users can independently adjust content display settings, such as font size and color scheme, to suit their needs.

The settings panel allows users to choose three font sizes, five color schemes, three letter spacing options, and three line spacing levels. Functions include toggling the display of images and Flash content, enabling monochrome image mode, selecting serif or sans-serif fonts, and adjusting the volume of the interface voiceover.

The system supports skipping repetitive navigation blocks, such as the site header, to jump directly to the main page content. Full page navigation is available via keyboard controls.

The current version lacks ready-made product catalog templates for 1C-Bitrix platforms below version 17.0. It also does not include e-commerce functionality such as shopping carts, checkout processes, or personal accounts for any version. These templates and elements may be developed independently or created for an additional fee.

This module does not utilize text-to-speech technology for reading text on web pages. It holds no GOST R certification and is not listed in the Russian software registry. Obtaining these features requires the professional version of the product.
