The markup management module extends standard pricing capabilities. It allows creating markups for a specific product group and all its subgroups. Within a group, a price range can be defined for the markup application: if the lower bound is omitted, all prices up to and including the upper bound are processed; if the upper bound is omitted, all prices from the lower bound upwards are processed; if neither is set, all products are affected. Calculations can be based on any price type, including purchase price, with the result written to any user-selected price field. The rule applies to all products in the specified section and its sub-sections. For sub-sections requiring a different calculation formula, it is recommended to create a separate rule with a higher sort value; this ensures it is processed later and overrides previous results.
