The module introduces the 'Dependent List (MCart)' field type to build cascading lists. It allows linking a specific list of values to each item in a primary list. When a user selects an option in the main list, the dependent list displays only the values associated with that selection.
Configuration steps:
1. Create a list.
2. In field edit mode, add a 'List' field to serve as the primary source.
3. Add a 'Dependent List (MCart)' field, link it to the primary list, and configure the values and their associations on the 'List' tab.
4. Optionally, create additional 'Dependent List (MCart)' fields linked to the preceding field.
Constraints and requirements:
1. The substring '__' is not allowed in the code of the dependent list or in its value fields during creation.
2. The dependent field must be positioned below the source field (controlled by the sort order field).
3. The module operates exclusively with universal lists. Unlike the standard 'Link to items as a list' field type, it supports multi-level dependencies.
