What this solution does
The module enables order confirmation at pickup points using one-time codes sent via SMS. This allows managers to verify that the person requesting the order is its rightful owner by matching the provided order number.
The process works as follows: a manager enters the customer's phone number in the order's administrative panel, and the system sends a four-digit code to that number. The customer provides this code to the staff member, who verifies it against the generated value. Message delivery is handled through the standard 'Message Service' mechanism of the 1C-Bitrix platform.
After installation, a new tab titled 'Order Confirmation via SMS' appears in the order card. The phone number field is automatically populated with data from the order. The SMS text can be customized within the platform's general SMS template settings.
Module settings allow specifying an order status that triggers automatic sending of the confirmation code. Additionally, administrators can define a specific order property to store the generated confirmation code.
