Examples of operation:
The query "gazAvaya garElka" finds "gas burners".
The query "boker" finds products from the Böker manufacturer.
The query "tachilka lanski" finds "Lansky sharpeners".
The query "vOtKo" finds products containing vodka.
The query "svItilnik dlya chtenYa" finds reading products, ignoring errors.
The query "arekh" finds products with nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, etc.).
The query "sorLelka" does not find sausages if they are not in the catalog, but suggests hot dogs.
Standard search issues:
A visitor enters a query with a typo, and the standard search finds no results. The customer leaves for a competitor, losing the opportunity to purchase.
An article number, such as A1234V, can be entered in both Cyrillic and Latin. The standard search does not recognize these variants. A buyer with the article number in hand cannot find the product on the site.
The standard search shows no results even when similar products exist. The module suggests alternative options.
Module functionality:
Search is performed by names, sections, SEO tags, and properties allowed for indexing or included in the smart filter.
The CIFTIX enhanced search module for products and services correctly handles typos and missing letters by automatically correcting user queries. The system supports character similarity search, allowing article codes to be entered in either Cyrillic or Latin script. If a direct query yields no results, the module suggests associative recommendations. Search results prioritize items that are in stock. A single license allows for separate search settings for each website.
Extended capabilities include a beta version of SEO optimization for search result pages, enabling custom templates for meta tags and specific data for search phrases. The module collects statistics on search queries and the number of results found to analyze audience demand. Data is stored anonymously in a specialized search index linked to the Bitrix license and server IP address, with automatic deletion occurring after 30 days of inactivity.
