The ITConstruct Dadata GeoIP module integrates the DaData geolocation service into 1C-Bitrix to determine the location of website visitors. Since DaData servers are located in Russia, the geolocation function remains stable even during periods of sanctions. The basic service tier includes 10,000 free API requests per day.

The basic service tier includes 10,000 free API requests per day. If necessary, the request volume can be increased by switching to a paid plan.
Please note that the service determines the city only for Russian IP addresses. Requests from foreign IP addresses, including traffic via foreign VPNs, will not return geolocation data.
After installing the module, you must add a new handler in the geolocation settings. To do this, navigate to /bitrix/admin/geoip_handlers_list.php?lang=ru in the administrative section, click the 'Add' button, and select 'ITConstruct Dadata GeoIP' from the list.

Set a static IP address to replace real visitor addresses instead of automatically detected ones. Helps debug site functionality dependent on geolocation—you can set any IP address, and geolocation will emulate a visit from that IP.

The module redirects the sending of selected email events to the SendPulse email delivery service. Operation requires an active SendPulse account with a subscribed plan and valid API credentials. The server must also have the PHP cURL library installed, which is typically pre-installed by hosting providers. Detailed setup instructions are available in the 'Installation' tab.
Location determination by IP address
The module determines the country by IP address and the city (Russia only). It relies on up-to-date RIPE NCC and IpGeoNames (RU-CENTER) databases. Data is stored in dedicated tables within the 1C-Bitrix database, enabling near-instant IP identification. Additional caching of current query results further reduces processing time.
