What this solution does
The module automatically adds Schema.org markup in JSON-LD format and Open Graph tags to website pages without modifying site templates. It identifies the content type—product, article, catalog section, or homepage—and inserts the appropriate markup into the page head. The solution is compatible with composite caching.
Product pages output the Product type, including title, description, image, article numbers (sku, mpn), barcodes (gtin), brand, catalog section, and attributes from infoblock properties (additionalProperty). Price and availability data are retrieved from the Trade Catalog module. For products with trade offers, an AggregateOffer with a price range is generated; for others, an Offer with a specific price, currency, and availability status is provided. Prices can also be sourced directly from infoblock properties if needed.
Catalog section pages receive CollectionPage markup containing a list of the first items (ItemList). Articles and news items are marked as NewsArticle, Article, or BlogPosting, including publication and modification dates, an image, author, and publisher. All pages include BreadcrumbList generated from the site's navigation chain. The homepage features Organization markup (or LocalBusiness, Store, OnlineStore) with address, phone number, logo, working hours, and social media profiles, along with WebSite markup containing a site search form.
The module provides Schema.org and Open Graph microdata for the 1C-Bitrix platform. For every page, it generates tags including og:type, og:url, og:title, og:description, og:image, og:site_name, og:locale, and Twitter Card. Titles and descriptions are taken directly from the page content, images are sourced from products or articles, and a default image is used for other pages. The script avoids duplicating tags already output by the template or other modules, applying the same logic to JSON-LD types.
The administrative panel features two control tabs. The Page Check tab requests any site page and displays all found markup: own, external, and Open Graph, with links to Google, Yandex, and schema.org validators. The Sitemap tab shows the standard sitemap, sitemaps from the robots.txt file, and child index sitemaps, including file presence, address count, lastmod dates, and responses from selected links.
Setup takes about five minutes: select product and article information blocks, specify article and brand property codes, and fill in organization details. All entities can be enabled or disabled individually. For non-standard entity addresses, the entity can be defined in a component template using a single line. Entity markup is cached and automatically cleared when an element or section of the information block is changed.
The module is built using the D7 API. It does not create database tables, does not copy files to the site template, and can be removed without leaving traces. Access rights match the standard module permissions.
