The solution features an intuitive control panel and dynamic interface adaptation. Visitors can independently activate the adapted mode and customize the display to their needs, including text size, line spacing, font type, color scheme, image display mode, and other parameters.
Additional accessibility tools are supported, such as text-to-speech synthesis, voice control, monochrome mode, and page printing via the control panel.
Connection is established after installation by enabling the relevant option in the module settings. The system also supports using a custom button integrated directly into the site template.
Administrators can configure panel parameters, the standard button, and connection scenarios without modifying the site structure.
Technical efficiency
The solution does not generate separate page copies, reducing the risk of content duplication and simplifying site maintenance.
The module was developed in compliance with GOST R 52872-2019 requirements and Russian Federation legislation on the protection of persons with disabilities.
When needed, General iT can implement “Accessibility Version”, configure the module and verify it against the current website setup.
UPDATE HISTORY
When reading the page, names of elements without text are read aloud without repeating labels. Decorative images are skipped.
In the module settings, you can select name sources, set their priority, or disable additional names.
Cursors for available buttons and input fields are restored when the panel is open.
The calculation of the panel height when resizing and formatting its buttons has been improved.
If `visibleUntil` is absent, the fallback `(max-width: 359px)` is applied: the panel is hidden up to and including 359 CSS px and shown from 360 CSS px. An empty value is no longer passed to `matchMedia` as matching all viewport media queries.
In an SSR environment without `window` or `document`, calling `new ViPanel()` now silently becomes a no-op without DOM mounting, callbacks, or console errors; the working instance is created via a separate client-side call after the DOM appears.
Overriding `smol-toml@1.7.2` resolves a high-severity advisory in the dev chain `markdownlint-cli2` without reverting the Markdown linter itself.

Fixed the 'Read All' button on pages without the #viPanelUtterContent container.

User-defined selector settings are not changed during updates.

For new installations, the module's default button will be enabled by default after enabling the visually impaired version.
Removed support for an external Braille font; it is now generated on the client side.

Added the `openPanelQueryParam` parameter - a string specifying the query parameter name; if present when the page opens, the panel will automatically open. Default value is `openVI`.
